Our Parkdale Disability Service clients experienced a wonderful day at our Annual Footy Day event that was held on Friday 16th September πππ
It was a day where our local community pulled together to provide fun activities including footy drills and games. Special thanks go to the awesome Beaumaris Secondary College students and PE teacher Tim, who came along to make it an extra special day. It was an absolute delight to have the students join us for the day – they were so engaging and encouraged all of our participants to have a go!π
Footbal Integration Development Association (FIDA) also attended to share information about Footy Competitions and handed out brochures and drink bottles!
We also enjoyed a special guest appearance by Collingwood AFLW player Katie Lee who is sister to one of our clients, Meagan!π₯°
All of our clients who took part were delighted with the outcome of this wonderful day and wanted to show their gratitude by writing letters and making cards to thank Mordialloc Braeside Football Club for allowing us use of their clubrooms and the beautiful students who provided such caring support on the day π
The day was a great success – we’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
