Tai Chi is a form of martial art using relaxed, gentle movement. It can be an effective healing tool for a range of disorders including anxiety, arthritis, diabetes, fatigue and heart disease. Evidence shows that Tai Chi can also help prevent falls by improving mobility, strength, flexibility, posture and balance.
During our weekly Tai Chi classes, participants will gradually learn a system of twelve basic movements. The program has been designed to be safe, comfortable and easy to learn and allows participants to work at their own pace.
